Delete Your SpeakGym Account
SpeakGym allows users to delete their account directly inside the app. This page explains how to do that and what happens to your data after you request deletion.

How to delete your account in the app
- Open the SpeakGym app and sign in to your account.
- Go to your profile screen.
- Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.
- Scroll to the account actions section.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion request when prompted.
After confirmation, SpeakGym is intended to permanently remove your account and associated app data, subject to limited retention described below.
What data is deleted
Your deletion request is intended to remove your SpeakGym account data, including:
- your profile information and account record,
- your lesson progress and settings,
- your saved lesson recordings and related app content, and
- other personal data associated with normal use of your account.
What may be retained for a limited time
Some information may be retained for a limited period where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or backup and recovery processes.
If retained, that information is kept only as reasonably necessary for those purposes and is not used to restore your deleted account for normal app use.
Subscriptions
Deleting your SpeakGym account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play.
If you have an active subscription, you should also cancel it in the store where you purchased it to avoid future charges.
